EARLIER TODAY, Prince Harry and fiancée Meghan Markle made their first royal outing together to mark World Aids Day.
Meghan accepted flowers and gifts from the waiting crowds outside the event in Nottingham, as well as a bag of Haribo Starmix (bet she was delighted with those).
This Morning’s Alison Hammond (who so famously interviewed Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford) joined the throng – and though Harry and Meghan weren’t doing any official interviews, Alison tried her damnedest to catch their attention.
Like, really. She SCREAMED in their general direction, while Eamon Holmes and Ruth Langsford shouted words of encouragement from back in studio:
Can’t see the video? Click here.
However, Alison didn’t manage to get much of a scoop. Harry literally swerved away from her microphone, while Meghan just thanked her for her good wishes.
Watch the full ‘interview’ here (but maybe turn your volume down first? Just a thought).
Viewers were thoroughly divided by the segment – some said it was disrespectful to shout at royalty (…or soon to be royalty) in that manner, but others said it was the “best TV” they’d seen in years.
We think Kay Burley is shook, TBH. Please station Alison Hammond outside all future royal events.
